Symbol of fate, victory or controversies and disputes..
Ram Janmabhoomi or Lord Ram’s birthplace is believed to be in Ayodhya from the epic Ramayana. Lord Rama is not only our Hindu God, believed to be the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu but his name is constantly taken for the religious perspective in the political world. Very few people know that Ayodhya was the capital of Kosala in Buddhist time ( 5th – 6th BCE)
History of Ram Janmabhoomi:
I will mention in crux about the history of this sacred place as we all know about it since our childhood.
In 1528, the then Mughal emperor Babar built a mosque in this disputed land. It is claimed that there was a Hindu temple of Lord Rama so the Mughals demolished it. History had it that many temples were demolished by many foreign rulers who ruled our country.
In 1853, some people claimed that the Babri Masjid stands on the exact place of Lord Ram’s birthplace. That led to several riots and Britishers played the divide and rule policy very well then. Later, a decision was taken that the Muslims will pray inside the mosque and Hindus will worship outside the same.
After Independence, in 1949 idols of Lord Rama were found in the mosque. On which, Hindus claimed that Lord Rama manifested, on the contrary, Muslims blamed that someone kept the idols intentionally a day before. The government then sealed the disputed place to avoid unrests, riots and violence.
On 6th December 1992, supportersand political activists of BJP, shivsena and other Hindu political organisations destroyed the disputed building in the rally which resulted in several riots. Time to time, India has witnessed violence and turmoil regarding the land.
On 9th November 2019, the Supreme Court announced the verdict stating that the land belongs to the Government based on the taxes records and ordered to build a Hindu temple.
Then came August 5, 2020, which embarks as one of the most important dates in Indian political history of the BJP RSS ideological agenda.
Many of us support the Modi government, some oppose and there are a few who are neutral but being a Hindu I am very much pleased that this is a great decision taken by the government, not just because of political reasons but also it’s how you save Hinduism, 100-200 years from now people will remember this history and the temple.
Modi government has played some masterstrokes like the changes in Jammu and Kashmir as well.
Transitions and Evolution of India
28 years ago when the mosque was brought down, most of them never even thought about a temple would be built, many said it’s injustice, other institutions claimed to rebuild a mosque and punish those were involved in breaking it down.
Today, if we see, no one has opposed it, not even the opposition parties, secularists and in fact everyone has welcomed the decision. Even a few of my Muslim friends are also pleased with the reincarnation of the temple wholeheartedly.
The only opposition leader who has opposed the decision of the Supreme Court to construct a temple is AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. However, apart from that we found the entire nation to be united for the national project.
However, a post went viral claiming that Kerala government imposed a blackout barring the locals to watch the live telecast of Bhoomi pujan Ceremony.
As I have mentioned several times in my blogs that we have an enormous and vast abundance of keyboard warriors who simply post anything just to get views and likes. Media houses later found the post to be misleading.
So has Ram Mandir polarized national politics and are we heading towards a communist government or dictatorship?
Because we are a Democratic country we know that politics cannot just be polarized.
The question that arises in my mind, are we going to worship Modi as God?
Because he already has a huge fan base, many out of those are willing to worship him.
The downfall of Congress party because of the cell less torchbearer somehow makes us realise the hollowness and absence of a strong opposition party.
Genuine democracies do not have party-less democracies and genuine democracies do not have an ideology-less democracy.
Nevertheless, I came across an article, the headline just grabbed my eyeball:
At Ayodhya Bhoomi Pujan, Modi Became All-in-One; Proper Rituals Not Followed, Allege Pundits
The article claimed that a prime minister can attend such type of ceremony as a chief guest, while the rituals should have been followed by the religious administrators.
Shankaracharya’s were absent during the pooja. We all know India is now governed by one man. It’s not a team, party or group anymore. He takes his own decision and we are his followers.
Are we blind followers?
Nevertheless, the entire world celebrated the D-Day, even temples all across the US organised special events.
I am just a normal Indian citizen, I don’t support any political party as such, neither I am secular. I am simply a neutral person who simply observes the changes and behaviour within the society.
I simply raised a few questions and I would love it if you can share your views on the same.
Imagine your and family’s life is in constant threat if you dare to speak..!!!??!!..
We Indians are actually lucky to be in India where people are free to express their thoughts and opinions. You have no such restrictions here, you can freely use social media, write, tweet and post anything. The government is not restricting and controlling you every time. You have so many channels on TV that entertain you but the case is not so similar in China.
Let me share a few accounts and facts, you must know about China.
China silenced the whistleblowers, many journalists, activists and doctors who tried to talk and uncover about Coronavirus are missing.
China has demanded IP theft from citizens abroad.
China restricts the use of the internet and ranks people on the basis of their ‘good’ or ‘bad’ citizen as per their ‘social credit’ system.
I will discuss all the topics, but today let me share about
The missing cases in China.
The dragon has mercilessly killed so many people, normal citizen since decades.
But now, after the coronavirus broke in China a few doctors suspected a new kind of virus with pneumonia like symptoms in the body of infected patients and tried to talk about the same. The virus soon started to spread like wildfire and initially, a doctor spoke about it in interviews. As the doctor, Ai Fen was unaware of the consequences that she is ruffling the feathers of the ruling communist party and they can go to their extend to bury down the failure.
Dr Ai Fen is a doctor in Wuhan, she is amongst the first doctors who discovered the virus. In an interview, she narrated the story of how the patient came with a disease similar to flu she tried all the possible medications but nothing worked then she conducted a few tests and got to know about the new virus.
She named is a new SARS coronavirus, she took a picture of the virus and shared with a friend. Soon the picture got circulated among the doctors of the hospital. She was the one who gave the whistle and then other doctors and journalists became the whistleblowers. She was initially warned and later suspended for spreading rumours. After a few months, she got a chance to speak her heart out in an interview by a magazine called ‘People’ there she mentioned that the virus was first noticed in December and then she was asked to keep quiet. Later on, the interview was removed from the social media and she went missing after that. It’s been now two months no one knows where she is.
She also accused the government of hiding the information from the world.
The whistleblower doctor who died of Coronavirus.
Dr Li Wenliang, who received the report that was shared by Ai Fen and he further passed the report in a wechat group. He also talked about the patient’s condition who was quarantined. He alarmed the government authorities, hospital and others about the virus but was asked to remain silent. The hospital asked for a written apology. He was afraid of the consequences and signed the letter which mentioned that he spread rumours and disrupted social policies.
Dr Li Wenliang died at the age of 34 by treating patients in the same hospital. He died a week later after all these incident happened. His death will bring tears to our eyes, the country declared him the national hero though the government gave him no such recognition instead he was accused and harassed. The government initially said that there is no human to human transmission and people kept on living their normal lives until the outbreak. Li and his nearby people were all contracted by the same disease.
After the incident, the citizens wanted an apology from the government for Li. They were filled with grief and outrage. The social media was trending of a demand for freedom of speech before it was censored.
Li’s death is also mysterious, was he injected with the virus?
The journalists who documented the life of Wuhan during Coronavirus, the whistleblowers the activists, lawyers all were reported missing. While the country was in lockdown, these journalists tried to show the world about the pandemic.
Fang Bin released a video on Twitter showing bodies in a minibus outside the hospital and soon after the video he’s gone missing. Their wechat was shut down by the government.
We are lucky that we are in India. We have freedom of speech, our government is not tracking us every second. We abuse, humiliate people openly on social media. We criticise our government and the opposition parties, cartoonists draw funny cartoons and activists and secular people tweet and say how scared they are in India.
I am a normal citizen and I am just expressing my thoughts I will request everyone to never ever hand over our freedom, privileges, rights and liberties to any political party. Many might disagree with my point but always remember, politicians, come in the field to gain power. They want to rule and get more powerful be it, Narendra Modi who claims to be chowkidar and has earned votes because of his slogan, he got enormous love from the nation.
Fakir hun, phir jhola le k chal padunga
He is also fighting for politics, he will not pass the throne to his family but will never want to lose the throne till his lifetime.
On the other side, Sonia Gandhi and followers who try to compare her with Lord Sita all are in the rat race. The race of power and once you give your all powers to them then what???
I have known Chinese in person, many are my friends and some are students. They never directly objected the government but yes indirectly have shown their displeasure. A few of my friends, praise China and mention how the country took care of everyone. A few Chinese did abuse me as I belong from a poor country and the virus will kill us all because unlike China we have no money and strong healthcare support.
In the current scenario, there is so much to share about China. Actors apologizing if they dare speak, businessmen fleeing or risk losing their life and their lives hard work, and a country squeezing its own citizen into modern-day concentration camps just because they are Muslims in the name of correction.
China and US cold war
The world is cornering China.
China violates India’s territorial integrity
How China exported the virus
Chinese citizens want to sue their government. Is there any reality behind the story? What’s the condition of the Chinese people there?
Will China earn profit from the pandemic?
The world demands China to pay.
I will cover all aspects and above-mentioned topics in my upcoming blogs about China.
Symbol of fate, victory or controversies and disputes.. Ram Janmabhoomi or Lord Ram’s birthplace is believed to be in Ayodhya from the epic Ramayana. In my previous blog, I mentioned about January-March how my life changed with the world’s situation. We are witnessing a big change in our lives and trying to withstand and overcome the phase. Avianca Airlines, world’s second oldest airlines has filed for bankruptcy in US court due to COVID-19.
In Spain, a video showing a fire in a park which is not harming the trees and green grasses went viral. The link of the video is shared below, this is actually magical.
13,000 tons of Styrene is shipped to South Korea. The factory that is shipping the styrene is the same factory named LG polymers, Vizag where the gas leak incident happened recently.
State governments have passed an ordinance to attract manufacturers and private investments in their states by removing hurdles as labour laws.
UP government plays a masterstroke, indeed he knows how to turn a good crisis in his favour.
What is good crisis?
Every economic crisis comes with an opportunity the one who understands and quickly acts turns the bane into a boon. The Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh government are the first to understand and grab the opportunity.
The Uttar Pradesh government has approved an ordinance exempting businesses from the purview of almost all labour laws for the next three years in a bid to provide a fillip to investments affected by the novel coronavirus in the state.
People from states of Bihar, UP, Rajasthan, West-Bengal,Jharkhand etc. on a daily basis migrate to bigger cities in search of employment.
This pandemic has clearly shown the huge population of labourers residing in other states. So when the states like UP and Bihar has the labour force why not bringing in industries to their own land?
Think once if IT companies and other white-collar industries have their offices in Bihar, UP, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh would you ever travel to states leaving behind your friends and family?
Similarly, these states have so fewer jobs whether white or blue collared jobs that the labours are left with no options. These states since a long time have become labour exporting machinery.
The new labour reforms will ease and help to do business in these states. The reform is aimed to stimulate and promote industrial activities.
Do you remember, when we were children, we use to write that
India is an agricultural country. 63% of Indians are farmers.
In this 20-25 years, the situation has changed now we are not anymore dependent on the farming industry. If you see the farming industry only contributes 15% of India’s GDP.
As this pandemic has forced people to sit down at their homes leaving them jobless and income loss now we have to create jobs. Again, we cannot go back to the days when there were 7 people in a family with only one earning member.
If I take an example, Bihar used to have industries earlier, not in huge scale but examples like Rohtas industries. Even now India has 50 industrial areas which include IT, electronics, textile, leather, agriculture as its priority but even the number is very less.
Kanpur again a city which was an industrial hub once has turned out to be a in shambles.
Now with the new labour reform, the obsolete glory can return again. The table can turn and it’s not just mandatory and beneficial for labours even white collared job opportunities will open. So when the source of income and employment opportunities will increase it will bring more opportunities in the education industry, business sector and many more.
India can see this as a chance to start many factories rather than depending on other countries. I will take an example of China here, as I regularly discuss with some Chinese friends and students, they tell me how their country helps them to open a business hence you will find every 3rd person of China is either a trader, supplier or manufacturer. The government supports the hard workers and if our country starts to produce products on their own it can give a huge competition to China.
India’s archaic labour law is the key reason why we are not a successful exporter.
Many countries give freedom to employers to hire and lay-off workers based on demands and dynamics.
Developed countries protect their workers through their policies.
On the other hand, India does the opposite, they protect jobs, not employees. Thus in India, we will find many employees working in off-roll and contractual basis jobs but then India has one of the best labour laws. But what is the point of having such labour laws when we can’t take advantage out of it.
In India, entrepreneurs must have a licence for starting a business and another license for shutting down. So any factory who have more than 99 employees you have to go to the labour department to take permission.
So many such investors and entrepreneurs moved to white-collar industries or service industries but then the geographic location and nature of scope become limited because business is always risky.
Many renowned Indian companies have registered multiple sisters concerning companies just to safeguard themselves and saving themselves from giving gratuity and provident funds.
Such stringent laws made for welfare of labour have actually proved to be counter-productive to the labours themselves. Employers deliberately choose not to scale to skip those laws and when you so not scale, you cannot compete with likes of China anymore. This phenomenon has been rightly described as “dwarfism” by the incumbent Chief Economic advisor of India Mr Krishnamurthy Subramanian.
The effect of downward economy creates a chain reaction. Take example of a fashion brand. No retail sale means no payments to small scale designers, job losses of direct employees of the brand. Tailors not required, logistics not required. Showroom cut down. The people indirectly employed by the direct employees of the brand like laundry, maids, security guards, restaurants, shopping mall, franchise owners, e-commerce company, payment processing company and their employees sees a loss in income too and hence the economy falls to recession.
The time is ripe to change the outlook of these labour laws. As the Labour market update 2016, 82% of the Indian workforce is employed in unorganised sectors.
With such humungous amount of workforce in unorganised sector, there is a huge potential to kick start the economic fate of India with right policies creating many organized sector and plethora of white and blue collared jobs. There is a reason special economic zone (SEZ’s) are a huge success and time has come to reap the benefits at large scale by proper implementation at large scale level.
If India has to compete in Global manufacturing it will also have to change it land laws accordingly. While Modi gov. has done a commendable job in bringing India in forefront of Ease of doing business index, it has a long way to go, along with that it has to attract private investment which is holding back because of such labour laws.
Nobody will invest a huge amount to start a business only to be at the mercy a government inspector and labour unions.
Recently Arnab Goswami stole all the limelight after he published a video stating an attack on him by the Congressmen late night while he was returning from studio to home.
Again our India divided itself into groups having a different opinion.
Only supported Arnab
Supported Arnab and BJP
Opposed Arnab because of his cheap publicity stunt
Opposed Arnab just to support the opposition.
He loves controversies, he is expert in creating news. This is not the first time that such things happened. Let me take you to the journey of Arnab.
Arnab Goswami was born on 9th October 1973 in Guwahati, Assam. Born in a reputed and well-known family where his father Manoranjan Goswami is a retired army officer and a BJP member.
Strong family-political background.
He contested for the Lok Sabha polls for the Guwahati Constituency but he lost it from the congress candidate Bhubaneswar Kalita.
If you look at the family background, the entire family is very much educated. Arnab’s mother Suprabha Gain-Goswami is an author.
Arnab’s paternal grandfather was a lawyer and maternal grandfather was the legislator from the communist party of India.
Arnab in making
Arnab attended schools in many cities as his father was in a transferable job. He completed his masters in social anthropology from Oxford University where he was a Felix scholar.
After his education, he returned to India and started his career with The Telegraph, Kolkata.
I remember while watching one of his interview with Raj Thackeray where Thackeray said that you might be worked in print media as all journalist does. But he soon moved to Delhi and joined NDTV.
The journey wasn’t easy, he hopped and learnt from his experiences. He worked with DD Metro as well where we won his award as the best news anchor of Asia 2004.
In 2006, he joined Times Now as the Editor-in-Chief. He got his popularity from there when he hosted a live show at 9 pm along that he also hosted special programs like Frankly speaking.
He formed a new way of anchoring by bringing aggressively debates on topics. People loved to hear him, the way he argued, the way he use to keep his point, his English speaking.
Many companies and colleges recommended and referred to watch his show to enhance English speaking skills.
Now he is with Republic TV.
Why Arnab is called BJP puppet.
Republic TV was launched 2 years back and it’s a most-watched news channel from 100 weeks in a row.
It’s owned by:
ARG outlier media
The channel was primarily funded by Rajeev Chandrasekhar an independent member of Rajya Sabha who had intricate links with Bhartiya Janta Party.
Arnab as a co-founder and his wife Mrs Goswami as a major investor along with Ramdas Pai and Ramakanta Panda.
Chandrasekhar resigned from the board in 2018 before officially joining BJP and Arnab bought the stakes of Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
Republic TV is accused of biased reporting in favour of BJP.
It also has an allegation of propagating fake news.
It has also been accused of breaching TRAI & NBSA rules.
And along with that, it also has been subjected to high profile defamation case by INC Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor.
Arnab Goswami after accusing Sonia Gandhi now accuses Mumbai Police.
An FIR has been registered by RAZA Educational welfare society Secretary, Irfan Shaikh, for creating communal disturbances.
The channel had telecasted the protest of migrants that had gathered near Bandra railway station on April 14, during which he (Goswami) had raised a question as to why are mob gathering only near mosques during lockdown.
On which, Goswami stated the police filed the complaint with an intention to harass and silence him.
This is not the first incident multiple such complaints have been filed against Arnab.
Fake news by Arnab
Chattisgarh Health Minister registered FIR against Arnab for Palgarh mob lynching and all spreading communal hatred.
The video of Arnab mentioning about the attack and the time of the attack stated was misleading.
Rajdeep Sardesai claimed that Arnab Goswami lied and used his story about covering Gujarat riots.
Recently Aatish Taseer turned down the request to participate in the debate on “Western Media peddling fake news about India.”
Why people like Arnab:
Sad but true, while I was searching for why do people like Arnab in Quora surveys other articles there were no such article or section where people did mentioned why they adore him. My search result kept on showing why people don’t adore him.
But yes there are a few points to really admire:
He has given journalism a new form of ranting.
He is aggressive, witty, ferocious.
His aggressive behaviour attracts people.
He knows from where to grab the opportunities for his betterment. For journalism…ahem!ahem!…we will see for that.
He has the potential to shout continuously and taunt on the fellow debate participates.
Indians love spices in food, entertainment and life. Arnab is giving the spice to the Indian audience.
He has the potential to singlehandedly run a news channel and constantly remain at the top of TRP.
He plays all the roles, he is the moderator, he is for and against the debate and himself delivers the final verdict.
He is an eloquent orator with impeccable fluency.
So the question lies:
Where is Arnab wrong?
He has rightfully asked questions as a Hindu and as a true Indian then were us the problem?
If he is creating communal differences, aren’t we trying to do the same?
If he is booked to hurt religious feelings, aren’t there many who do the same?
He is able to do so because of we Indians actually love that. The divide and rule policy is nothing new in India, Isn’t it?
After Amit Shah, now Dr Indranil Basu Ray who is an Indian-American cardiologist has written a letter to Mamta Banerjee.
I am compelled to point out the fact that as West Bengal is exceptionally crowded, the virus, if it infects a particular locality, will spread like wildfire, affecting thousands and killing quite a few.We cannot take anything for granted as you will regret if thousands are infected, and hundreds start dying because of a lack of strictness in preventing the spread and appropriate detection of COVID-19.
Indranil Basu Ray
By now, West Bengal has more than 2060+ cases. Indranil also added:
Hushing up such infection and not taking appropriate precautions like isolation would lead to death and destruction, which I certainly know that you would not like as the Chief Minister of my state,
Indranil Basu Ray
If we check the state-wise list of confirmed patients in India after Maharashtra Gujarat is the second state to have the highest number of covid-19 patients while West Bengal is at 8th position with 2000+ cases so why so many letters are been written to Mamta?
Are all the people biased and trying to just target Mamata?
It’s because of the number of cases might be more but the state is hiding the actual numbers?
I am getting a lot of messages and request to write something on the way West-Bengal is dealing with Coronavirus. People from Bengal are asking my opinion and thoughts on the same. It’s sad that the citizens of West-Bengal are upset and worried by the way the state government is handling the situation.
On this blog, I am just sharing my analysis, it will be too early for me to put forward any opinion for such a sensitive cause.
Let’s start the journey of analysis with me and find out together.
These are my questions which came to my mind. Help me to find answers.
Are political leaders with decades-old rivalries still playing politics during this pandemic?
What the fight is all about? Is it ego or insecurity?
If Mamta is playing politics at this situation, will it hit back?
While students are tweeting Mamta to bring them back from Kota, why she has not taken any steps yet?
Only the two states, Bihar and WB don’t want their students and migrants back, why?
Will politics affect the common man?
Are sweets so vital for Bengalis, that they won’t be able to survive for a few days that the government is bound to open meat markets and sweet shops?
Is Centre really trying to intervene and blame Mamta?
The central government decided the hotspots without survey and statistics, how?
Why didn’t centre sent teams to MP or Gujarat first, as they sent to Kolkata?
As Mamata and supporters are continuously saying that they lack PPE kits and testing kits because of the biased government, is that true?
Why it is taking 5 days for test results to come out in Bengal when it is 2 days for other states.
Let’s try to find out the answers in this blog.
What happened till date in West Bengal?
On 4th march, Mamata alleged that people are creating chaos over CoronaVirus to suppress the riots in Delhi. She said;
“Today some people are shouting corona, corona [coronavirus] a bit too much. Yes, it’s a dreaded disease but doesn’t create panic. Some (TV) channels are creating hype over it to suppress Delhi violence.
On 17th March, a young boy was detected positive for COVID-19 in West Bengal who returned from London. This was the first case reported.
On the 18th of March, she asked people not to be irresponsible if they are having CoronaVirus symptoms also she ordered the state police to take stern action those who are spreading fake news.
On the earlier days of lockdown, even the media and the opposition parties applauded the way she addressed the media and people of West-Bengal. Mamta did announce that the state government will create a fund of 200 crores to deal with coronavirus.
By 25th March, the entire Kolkata Medical college was turned into medical facility to treat COVID-19 patients.
Now how the game changed? Let’s understand.
Politics- A dangerous game to play during this pandemic.
Coronavirus did change the course of Indian politics. Along with that, also exposed not only the mentality of politicians and media people but also the common men.
We are not just bearing brunt of economic crisis but the world is burning with communists and brutal and ruthless Indians.
Whenever I see the photo of the poor Hindu monk’s face who got killed by the mob at Palghar I do shiver that how people killed a person to death. The wound was not even healed and today I read another news of the death of 2 more Hindu monks.
Mamata Banerjee in the early days of April said that Coronavirus is not a communal disease and politics must not be indulged into it.
Later on, she mentioned that the areas must not be divided as hotspots. Where the whole country was fighting with coronavirus, recognizing hotspots and seal them she, on the other hand, gave it a term “sensitive areas”.
Is this because of her Muslim vote bank?
If we see the past and learn from it, Narendra Modi has always been known for turning unfavourable circumstances in his favour. As he is taking strong steps and trying to save his citizens from the virus even the entire world is praising him. This is the golden opportunity for BJP to enter into the West Bengal. If we see the history, BJP never ruled West-Bengal. We saw in 2014 when BJP got only 2 seats and in 2019 BJP managed to get 18 seats out of 42 which was remarkable. TMC has to be worried about this surge and any mismanagement can lead them to lose the next election.
The Bengal Chief Minister was clear of locking horns with the Prime Minister since the beginning of the fight against Coronavirus. She refused the plea of lighting lamps. Although she left the decision of lighting lamps to the citizens of the respective state. Most of the people switched off the lights for 9 minutes but didn’t lit lamps or candles as far as I know. When I spoke with few, I was surprised to know that they did not light the candles because of fear of retaliation.
What we are seeing, the only state government which turned out to be doing bizarre acts to control COVID-19. Where everyone is requesting including the prime minister to get united Mamata is holding daily press conferences to claim and state how the state is discriminated. Is that so?
TMC claims that the government is biased towards West-Bengal.
Let’s see if the government is biased. What steps the government has taken by far for the states:
Government of India has allowed states for additional borrowing and the limit is set at GSDP of States as per fiscal responsibility and FRBM act.
The government of India has ensured that they will give free treatment to COVID-19. Every state has set-up quarantined centres but Mamata is asking the people to stay put and quarantine themselves in their own homes because it’s difficult to arrange facilities for everyone. But what if the situation gets out of control and we need immediate medical assistance.
The government is providing PPE kits of International standards to every state. Where Mamata raised her questions on the colour of PPE kits and on the other side, media reported misuse of PPE kits.
The blog has already become too long to read. Let me cover the rest of the topics on my upcoming blogs related to Mamata dealing with Coronavirus.
It is high time that the politicians forget about politics and fight against the deadly virus which is mutating very fast. Scientist have already reported that the virus has mutated 10 times by now.
Otherwise, if anyone has watched Game of Thrones it will be difficult to win over the virus. As from the first season of GOT, we know “Winter is coming” but the rulers we’re so busy winning over lands and ruling that even though the finally defeated the nightwalkers, it left disastrous results.
Last Sunday afternoon, i.e. 19th April, I found that a person from Arab tweeted Modi Ji by objecting on a BJP minister’s tweet.
The tweet was of Tejasvi Surya, who is a BJP MP and a lawyer at Karnataka High Court, a very young, handsome person who is into politics at this young age but maturity does come with age. He tweeted the post in 2015 and I just ignored it after reading the demeaning post, later in the evening I checked my notifications and found a new tweet from our Modi Ji.
COVID-19 does not see race, religion, colour, caste, creed, language or borders before striking.
Our response and conduct thereafter should attach primacy to unity and brotherhood.
We are in this together : PM
After reading, I felt that the leader is forced to tweet after seeing so much of hatred between people. Every day and in most of my blogs I have requested to get united and spread peace and harmony but now India might listen to him. I posted his tweet on my page and wrote a long caption as well.
I ignored the tweets and didn’t realise the hatred and abusive behaviour of our citizens have actually now taken a global issue. The friendly nation has started to protest and people from royal families, intellectuals and leaders have asked the prime minister to take care of this issue.
Now you can listen the audiovisual of this blog in my voice.
It all started with the first major cause, an Indian named Saurabh Upadhay who runs a company in Dubai tweeted some provoking tweets. He had the guts to tweet by staying in that country.
He never thought in his dreams that his tweet might get so famous for all the wrong reasons as many did complaint to Dubai police and lately Princess of Sharjah tweeted on his post.
Later on, Saurabh Upadhyay apologised deleted his tweet and deleted his account.
but after then people started to dig in more tweets, several posts of Indian spreading hate speech and fake news were found. During this, the hateful, demeaning and disrespectful post of BJP MP Tejasvi Surya also came in front. He is actually a learned and literate person.
Many such old and nutty posts and comments were dragged after the incident.
Very sad, but I can see many of my educated friends stoop so low when I find their posts, on social media. I actually wonder are they just functionally literates and deliberate selective listener?
No facts, no logic they have, what they write is somehow baseless and not classy, it reminds me of the way slum people abuse by hitting below the belt.
So after analysis it was found out most of the hate speech, hate posts and comments were done by RSS, BJP leaders and aspirations who want to enter into politics.
But then, the BJP leader, Mr Narendra Modi has earned the respect and love from every country. He is a very popular leader and even Islamic counties adore him.
Even last year at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan, while addressing the rally he mentioned:
During the tenure of his government, India’s relationship with Gulf countries had improved. He highlighted that Muslim countries released many Indian prisoners, and Saudi increased Hajj quota because of India’s growing ties with the Islamic nations.
This became actually a matter of concern that friendly countries are now disappointed. If you see, India is sharing a very good relationship with Arab countries for years. That made our leader write a tweet.
Media which has been spreading so much poison and pouring in hatred into our minds might stop now. The trending hashtags might stop now.
But the question arrives, from where so much hatred came from? If our prime minister is so much loved and the BJP leaders have earned so much of respect then why BJP leaders and aspirants are spreading so much of hatred? So I thought to first understand and then explain it to you.
Evolution of Anti-muslim, hatred, communalism in BJP
Bharatiya Janta Party, my all-time favourite political party. I remember when I was a kid, Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the prime – minister. I liked him so much, read all his poems used to hear his speech with my father. I was a huge fan and revered him as my imaginary grandfather. He became the hero of the nation as India won the war against Pakistan and then the atom bomb test. Later on, I got to know about a very promising and powerful leader who was the chief minister of Gujrat, always wanted him to be the prime minister of India and one day he did become the same. Like other citizens I also supported him but later on apart from demonetization, failure of make in India, another problem started to appear as the voice of communication, hatred and anti-muslim started to rise and now the coronavirus exposed the hatred in people’s mind.
After the promises failed, the economy slowed down Hinduism became the ultimate and most powerful weapon to rule successfully. Aggressive, brazen, disrespectful campaigns started to trend and run. Slowly and gradually during the second phase, religion became the primary subject to the rule and govern.
Crossed over into the domain of sanctioned communalism.
A journalist and novelist Indrajit Hazra wrote in the Times of India signalled the BJP in her statement.
Under Modi’s reign, terms like
Calling terrorists to anyone
Any dissent go to Pakistan
got famous and the media plays a crucial role in it. It has now become a culture that if you want to enter into politics and become a part of the BJP party, just be Anti-muslim.
Now I know why learned, educated and intelligent people like Shashi Tharoor, Manmohan Singh yet stick with Congress though the leader is Rahul Gandhi.
Others like me, have become neutral because “whan Rahul hai to idhar ajib logo ka jhund hai”.
I read an opinion on The Washington Post, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi was sure on the sectarian strategy as he nominated Pragya Singh Thakur whowas accused of participating in a terrorist attack
Pragya Singh Thakur:
She is popularly known as Sadhvi Pragya, a BJP leader who is accused of Malegaon blasts in 2008 which resulted in the killing of 10 people and leaving 82 people injured. She is currently under trial even then she got a chance to contest in 2019 elections from Bhopal and won her debut. On 28th Nov 19, she made a remarkable comment by saying Nathuram Godse as a patriot which was strongly opposed and she was sacked from Defense committee and BJP.
Amit Shah the modern Chanakya, threatened the Muslim migrants whom he called infiltrators and termites-if the party is re-elected. However, he assured the Muslims, not to worry even I do support CAB and CAA. With just a heavy population we cannot afford refugees or migrants irrespective of their religion.
The cabinet Minister of Animal husbandry and Fisheries resource development who started his political career from Bihar has remarked many statements against Muslim.
Our forefathers, however, committed a mistake. Had they ensured that all our Muslim brothers were sent to Pakistan and Hindus brought here, the need for such a move (CAA) would not have arisen. This did not happen and we have paid a heavy price for it.
Those who cannot say Vande Mataram or cannot respect the motherland, the nation will never forgive them,
Here I do agree with his statement if you are in India you must respect our motherland, national anthem, national song.
Being in India, living your livelihood, getting food shelter from India and then accusing is not at all accepted. When in India, respect as Indian does.
Though he has hurt Muslim sentiments in several other statements and not just Giriraj if you pick out MLA’s and MP’s and as I said BJP followers, aspirants they strongly put statements accusing Muslims.
Singh’s comment on the green colour was an insult to the national flag, ANI reported. “One ideology cannot be forcefully imposed on everyone,” Yadav had said.
According to Shekhar Gupta, the strong relationship he built with the Islamic governments helped him to outflank Pakistan. He built the relationship, maintained the friendship. For him and India these are very important relationships.
Until now, India was getting away with it under Modi because protest if was coming from Indian liberals, Indian west, Indian free press or Muslim intellectuals become pan Islamic not just the countries which are traditionally hostile to India or organization’s this is not coming from mainstream countries India is friends with. How valuable is that friendship is and how good that friendship is taking an example: India is the only country whose airlines is allowed to fly over Saudi Arabia to Israel.
The followers who are attacking by saying or posting Anti-muslim comments for their cheap thrills or consolidating Hindu votes that they were using by date is over now. I am now looking forward to the press and media stop poisoning our countrymen. The government is already taking actions and arresting people who are spreading communal hatred.
I think the young leader Mr Tajasvi will understand as well and people learn from the mistake. Such a young person having such a wonderful and promising career will try to unite all the religion again.
Yesterday I found a post where a person mentioned “Jahil Hindu” so first Hindus insulted Muslims by writing “Jahil Jamatis” “Jahil Muslims” now Hindus are also Jahil.
Another post, I read on Facebook by an aspirant who wants to enter into the political world posted comments that lacked knowledge and wrongly stated. The person accused Muslims of Palgarh Mob lynching so I expect that now people must understand that the Anti-muslim statement will take you nowhere.
Earlier the Arab world use to see India with suspicion but now India has fixed the relationship and is into damage control mode. This cannot be harmed again just because of amusement and abusing to get a political career.
I found the trending hashtag on Twitter which is #GSTFreeCorona so I thought to check and find out the origin.
On Saturday, the Indian youth congress advised, requested and urged the central government to waive off GST from medical equipment like ventilators, medicines like paracetamol, hand sanitizers, PPE, masks and other lifesaving drugs until the time, the country is fighting with the pandemic.
As I found the hashtag on Twiter, I was surprised to see so less number of likes, comments and retweets on the post. Just like me, others were also laughing on the same.
Vaibhav Walia mentioned that:
If the govt. agree to our demand of #GSTFreeCorona
Masks will become 5% cheaper for people
Sanitizers will become 18% cheaper for people.
Gloves will become 12% cheaper for people
PPE kits will become 12% cheaper for doctors and medical staff.
Even people like us, who are inspired by his English-diction got inspired by Vaibhav and tweeted:
This is a totally legitimate demand. Shocking the Govt would seek to make money off these indispensable essentials in the midst of a pandemic. I support #GSTFreeCorona-fighting items.
Even the media has no interest in writing articles or blogs about the opposition’s initiative apart from Business Standard.
Let’s find out the Relinquish Tax (GST, IGST & Custom-Duty) on the essential products to Restrain/Cure of Covid-19.
Do you really agree with this tweet?
Even if the world is about to end, do you think someone will give his valuable vote to Rahul Gandhi?
So let’s find out if Modi government has ever considered or issued GST-Free in any compliance.
