Review and rewind April 2020-Part 2

In my previous blog, I mentioned about January-March how my life changed with the world’s situation. We are witnessing a big change in our lives and trying to withstand and overcome the phase. In history, the year will be remembered and if we survive we will have tales and stories to tell our grandchildren.

April:

As the days were passing by, it was not just difficult to accept the fact that staying home is difficult but also hopeless. The newly married couples were somehow managing to sustain by bringing the romanticism in themselves with their intoxication and smoke of love. They were trying to know each other and trying to utilise most of the time building up a bond. Trust me, in these 100 years a few are lucky who were able to spend every minute together but it was not the case everywhere. With work from home, many women were in deep turmoil of working for home and from home. Domestic violence increased, bachelors who were clasped in their rooms find it difficult to manage their lives, food spending time alone which led to depression.

The onset of the deadly coronavirus not just killed people furthermore brought the world to its knees by every means. Everything was closed, malls were empty, deserted airports, stranded migrants and tourists.

The virus was at the early stage of its journey though shattered the health infrastructure of many countries.

Though India took a bold step and decided to call for an early lockdown they didn’t organize the after plans on how to manage such a huge population, poor people, migrants and labours. People those who are stuck in different parts of the country. Soon the failure of proper planning started to show up along with that every day numbers of corona cases were doubling up.

Tablighi Jamaat

On March 20, in Telangana 10 Indonesians were tested positive, they participated in a religious event named Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin Markaz, Delhi.

The entire social media, news channels were flooding with the news of Tablighi Jamaat which became a burning topic and took the turn to religious angle.

Case in point is the irresponsible behaviour of particular sect in the muslim community, The Tablighi jamaat, which led to a sharp rise in the number of cases in India and endangered further spread. Not just India, Tablighi congregation drove the spread in Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and Pakistan as well.

For the first time, the city of Raiwind in Pakistan is under complete lockdown due to the same.

With all this happening in the world, then we found a few who were trying to help poor and needy with ration were also clicking their pictures and posting in social media which raised opinion in for and against of the same.

Tablighi Jamaat turned out to be a bombshell with 300 confirmed cases and 10 deaths became a new super spreader of Corona Virus. We witnessed keyboard fights in our country where many Hindus accused and made fun of Muslims. On the other hand, many Muslims blamed the government and were disheartened the reason was the handful of Muslims of such psyche plops the whole community answerable.

Trump and Hydroxychloroquine

If we all remember, President Trump was also creating headlines with his public statements. We got to know that India is the major supplier of hydroxychloroquine in the world. America demanded and ordered the supply from India and stated:

I don’t like that decision, I have not heard that it was his decision. I only know that he stopped the export for his country. We are in very good talk, I’ll see if it’s like this because India does very well with the United States from many years it has been taking advantage of the United States on trade so I will be surprised if he has taken such decision. If he allows the supply then it’s okay but if he doesn’t then there will be retaliation, why wouldn’t there be?

Meanwhile, during the lockdown in April we witnessed that India is no-more the peaceful place where every religion leaves in peace and harmony. Some people were successfully bowing the seeds of religious hatred.

Fake news was getting circulated, many were trolled in social media.

Plasma Therapy

With all these happening in the world, scientists were busy inventing vaccines, different countries also initiated clinical trials.

Even in India, The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has given approval to convalescent plasma therapy in Kerala.

The therapy takes antibodies from the blood of a person who has recovered from a virus and then it is transferred into a person sick with that virus.

In details:

After lockdown-1, India decided to extend the lockdown.

the priority of the government is to save each and every life.

Modi

Our lovable Modi gave us the task to beat utensils, bells on a fixed time. But people like me were also realising the fact that lockdown is not the ultimate solution.

The Indian lockdown is the severest in the world, the economist carried a chart based on studied by a group in Oxford which ranked the countries on a severity index on their response to COVID-19.

India topped the chart in the world, while India topped the chart according to the intensity of the lockdown, on the other side India was at the bottom of the chart when it came to a fiscal stimulus for the economy in terms of percentage of GDP.

While all these were happening, Indians from all over the world joined the battle which landed with a tweet to PM Modi objecting to a tweet from a BJP minister.

It all started with the first major cause, an Indian named Saurabh Upadhyay who runs a company in Dubai tweeted some provoking tweets. He never thought in his dreams that his tweet might get so famous for all the wrong reasons. Though he apologised and deleted his account, people started to dig in more tweets, several posts of Indian spreading hate speech and fake news were found.

India remained under lockdown throughout the month of April. I was a master chef in making. Every day I used to come up with new food recipes. However, my life is simple and sorted but a lot of things we’re happening all over the world. Not just our common keyboard warriors even celebrities were uploading objectionable and communal posts which resulted in police arrests and suspension of various accounts.

Migrants, Mob lynching, Bandra station migrants attack communal posts by celebrities.

But then it happened that the migrants started to walk barefooted towards their villages from the dream cities. They were hungry, anxious and worried about their life and future.

It showed us how the sudden unplanned lockdown built chaos in their lives.

Now what I am going to cover raised many questions about humanity in India.

Today, after closing our eyes to such heinous atrocities, I cannot say that the whole country has stood up to support what is right and what is agenda driven.

How ruthless this India is, the coronoviruses entering India are not spreading as fast as the cruel mentality of India is being exposed in this effort.

It said that there were rumors that gathered at Bandra station to board the train.

On 16 April 2020, the incident brought tears to our eyes when two Hindu monks were brutally executed. The public has become so cruel that it takes the law into its own hands.

Details: https://romieducation.com/2020/04/23/how-cruel-india-is-first-jamatis-then-mob-lynching-throwing-stones-at-doctors-killing-a-sanitizing-worker-read-more/

Policemen and health workers were attacked in many parts of India. Even the attack on Arnab Goswami was furthermore a highlight.

This lockdown has brought in many perspectives that are happening in the world, brings out inherent human nature to the forefront and history will remember every action we as an individual, society or as a country do. Remember, the world will remember this. Our maiming by this virus has brought the finest and ugliest of us.

Geopolitics – China, USA and the world.

Geo-politics and economy are intertwined in itself in this globalized world.

The US wants to maintain its supremacy and by attacking WHO.

However, China recovered early and hence its economy is back on track, forcing the US to accept the deaths yet not slow down the economy. Japan, Germany, Australia coming together and trying to hold China responsible.

RBI accepting Sri Lankan gov. offer of deposit as bonds. China flexing its muscle in South China sea and threatening Vietnam by allowing illegal fishing of Chinese fisherman backed by its navy in Vietnamese waters because it recently did an exercise with US Navy or making sure Pakistan gets emergency bailout and the very next day Pakistan testing missile and doing gunnery exercise, giving India direct message that it is not happy with India’s proposition in recasting WHO.

Many countries were now blaming China openly for the virus.

Burning Bengal:

Let’s now come back to our country because have a lot of drama here and this time it’s our Drama Queen, our West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee.

Coronavirus did change the course of Indian politics. Along with that, also exposed not only the mentality of politicians and media people but also the common men.

The Bengal Chief Minister was clear of locking horns with the Prime Minister since the beginning of the fight against Coronavirus. She refused the plea of lighting lamps.

The demise of Irfan Khan

Irfan khan the multi-talented actor who’s loved by everyone died on 29th Aprilat the age of 54.

Bollywood mourned with the death of Rishi Kapoor:

I am shattered and saddened after reading the news that Rishi Kapoor passes away. The entire nation hasn’t even didn’t come out from the demise of Irrfan khan yet when another legendary actor left us.

I covered three months in one blog and even though I tried to compress the month of April you can yourself see how many things have happened during the month.

Be with me to memorise everything that happened during the rest of the remaining months.

The Migrant Conundrum |Poverty & Lockdown.

Over the past few weeks the most pressing matter the government is trying to handle is the migrant crisis that has arisen out of this lockdown. It seems that the government advisory mechanism was caught off guarded over repercussions of this lockdown from the migrant perspective.

To the flocking of thousands of migrants at Delhi-Ghaziabad border, to the staging protest in Surat, Andhra border or at Bandra in Mumbai. People have been protesting to arrange the government for their return to their natives. While the government has been suggesting staying put wherever they are, respective state government have been arranging return of their citizens.

A quick survey of migrant’s shelters reveals the horror. The Delhi police survey report states to Indian Express (April 28), that fans are not working, no power backup, sanitization of toilets rarely done, most migrants want to leave as their families cannot survive, rude behavior of civil staff, pathetic quality of food, no hand wash and sanitizer, foul smells in toilet, water supply in toilets only between 7 to 11am, one soap for bathing and no detergent to was clothes, mosquito bites and so on. If these are the conditions of voluntary camps, don’t even imagine the conditions of quarantine camps where one have no option but to stay.

This lockdown has left the marginal section who barely are lifted out of poverty at the helm of going back to poverty. With no job, no food and no means to send remittances to their family, it is natural that one gets frustrated. The grim pictures of migrants cycling or walking back on foot along with small children thousands of kms paints the reality of this lockdown. Remember, the lives exist out of gated society as well. The truth is government is yet to figure out the assistance of this section, and assistance if received have benefited only few.

Once, these people go back and settle, the MSME’s will be the hardest hit, which are dependent on these workforces. Once stopped, it is no easy job to restart a business. Indian railways have set off across country to bring back home the stranded migrants and estimates that 500 such trains will be needed across 15 days to get the job done. The state of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have to huddle together as coordination with states are the major pain pointed out by the Railways. Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal are also in the line.

Once this exercise is over, the next challenge of the government is to kick start the economy and feed its jobless citizens, in a country where malnutrition is entrenched, especially among children, there is a danger of hunger becoming widespread too. We all have anecdotal evidence that families are going hungry and some are starving too. While you can have food given to you by government, one just cannot give up his dignity and have no job but just food to eat even if given free by the government. A human need is much more than just-food.

Where we read disturbing news of people committing suicide because he wasn’t able to feed his family during lockdown.

On the other hand, jewellers are forced to sell vegetables so that they can survive from the lockdown crisis.

A food for thought!!.

The shaken Economy and inter-twined Geopolitics.

The Fallouts, movers and shakers.

This lockdown has brought in many perspectives that are happening in the world, brings out inherent human nature to the forefront and history will remember every action we as an individual, society or as a country do. Remember, the world will remember this. Our maiming by this virus has brought the finest and ugliest of us.

As the famous proverb goes, a small ant can make the elephant dance to its tune, the same has happened to us and actually we have been doing the same to mother nature as well. Just compare the size of an ant to elephant, virus to human and human to the size of the earth. Still !!!

The demand to hold China responsible for hiding facts and letting the world slip in this precarious situation is growing spearheaded by the US. Australia, Japan and some countries have joined the blame game. West Europe is still cautious due to many factors; however, East Europe is praising China for its help to them. India as a major stakeholder in world politics is as always diplomatic and cautious, a strategy which has worked for it most of the time.

From now on, countries will rally against China to disrupt the world order. We have realized that China under Xi Jinping is too authoritarian and is detrimental to global peace. While it gave the world a pandemic, due to its ruthless regime it was able to control it and now flexing its muscle in the south china sea, while the countries are a busy fighting virus. Same goes with its selling of PPE’s, faulty masks and test kits.

However, I don’t believe this is a society in general in China. Today its clout has helped saved itself from being penalized for such grievous and deliberate mistake and still covered up by WHO itself.

It got Pakistan the emergency bail-out package, and in repayment the very next day Pakistan blocked an area in the Arabian sea to test out anti-ship missile and armament testing, giving India a solid hint through Pakistan that it should not have suggested recasting of WHO.

https://romieducation.com/2020/04/16/to-fight-over-religion-communism-caste-and-allowing-other-countries-to-point-a-finger-on-us-is-this-what-we-want/

We are still intrigued by why paradox has happened. West Europe and the US with great public health Infra saw high infection and death, and on the other hand South Asia somehow miraculously escaped the wrath of Virus.

India is a special case, rotting health infra, lack of doctors, not enough money, lack of protective equipment’s and many more and still, we showed the world, on why India’s frugal approach is efficient and effective.

Well, many factors are at play here.

Did universal BCG program help us?

As a population have our bodies developed a better defence against the virus as we are always exposed to the unhygienic situation?

Not sure enough. But what we know is that we implemented lockdown early, we gave priority to human lives rather than economy and we remained steadfast despite a lot of hurdles like religious gathering, attack of doctors and police, communalization and many more.

While the world is fighting for Ventilators, PPE’s, masks, we are doing our best by making some and importing some. Salute to ICMR, which quietly deviated from WHO guidelines and stood grounds on its plan.

The Economy is in shambles, the majority are losers, but some are winners as well. Radhakishan Damani, the owner of Avenue supermart running as D-Mart I believe should be the only winner in this lockdown where he gained from panic buying.

Let’s move from an individual perspective, we saw the Kirana store as the real winner brought to the forefront during these difficult times. E-commerce and supermarkets collapse suggest that slow and steady wins the race, and old is gold!! We will not be surprised to see now that manufacturers shifting gears towards channel programs benefiting these mom and pop stores. Remember, Kirana stores are much more street smart and ingenious, as another channel have too much dependency, be it delivering personal, corporate formulated protocols and supply chain or many more. We definitely will see a lot of behavioural change, government prioritizing public health spending, R&D spending and many more.

If you ever thought the defence sector is going to take a hit after this, you cannot be more wrong. We saw an increase in digital payments in some sectors which traditionally not have had much traction, maybe people will have some apprehension in exchanging cash for time to come.

We saw China’s opportunistic takeover and Gov. of India bringing new laws in FDI policy. If we look closely, everything is intertwined in itself. China increased its stake in HDFC and HDFC in Reliance Capital. Majority of investment in the digital industry can be traced back to one country. Guess who is the majority investor in Paytm?

Geo-politics and economy are intertwined in itself in this globalized world. Let’s analyze this correlation in major economies.

The US wants to maintain its supremacy and by attacking WHO, we know who it is attacking.

China recovered early and hence its economy is back on track, forcing the US to accept the deaths yet not slow down the economy. Japan, Germany, Australia coming together and trying to hold China responsible. India despite being in lockdown mode not leaving any stones unturned to make sure Its adjoining countries do not shift their gears again towards China and also use its soft power. Be it allowing exports of essential medicines like paracetamol and Hydroxichroloquine or donating to Nepal and Bangladesh.

India bringing new FDI scrutiny to save itself from opportunistic takeovers yet government deliberately not falling into trap of blame game as it needs help from wherever possible. It remains to be seen how it handles again the 5G war which has again returned due to US and China strife. Major world power rushing to help Africa, not actual help but showdown to grab as much goodwill possible and remove China’s clout. Russia sending in planeloads of the mask and other essentials as a goodwill gesture to the US, and North Korea and Iran using this apt time to fire as many missiles as possible as the world is busy saving themselves.

Bringing forward these perspectives help us see through the prism that how we behaved during these times which will have major ramifications for the time to come.

How ruthless is India? First Jamaat then mobilization. Throwing stones at doctors. Officer …

What are you doing in India?

I am writing this blog to understand the mindset of Indian citizens about where we are going as a society.

What do we want?

Today, after closing our eyes to such heinous atrocities, I cannot say that the whole country has stood up to support what is right and what is agenda driven. We are on position

Today I cannot say that the whole country is one to support what is right. Stand united and raise voice against the ill mentality of some fellow citizens.

How ruthless this India is, the coronoviruses entering India are not spreading as fast as the cruel mentality of India is being exposed in this effort.

It said that there were rumors that gathered at Bandra station to board the train.

Why I am applying such harsh words as it is in many cases.

Have you noticed how much hate and anger we have for each other?

Where celebrities like Rangoli Chandel and Babita Phogat are writing about Jamati. On the other hand, people like Ajaz Khan are trying to make fun of Hinduism and our God.

Celebrities are in the limelight, what about others? His account got suspended from writing literate the way Rangoli has made famous.

Let me justify myself, why I mentioned cruel India, let us understand the case:

Mob lynching:

On 16 April 2020, the incident brought tears to our eyes when two Hindu monks were brutally executed. The public has become so cruel that it takes the law into its own hands. They didn’t think before

The entire country has watched the video. His car was stopped, he was beaten repeatedly until his cry was silenced in front of the police.

When the police left the monks in the video, I was stopped. Even now I am writing this, I am getting so emotional, I feel like crying.

101 people have been arrested so far, I will come in my upcoming blog with detailed information about the mob in India.

Attack on Arnab Goswami

Another shocking news, late night in a notification saying that Arnab Goswami was attacked.

I grew up listening to their arguments and trying to catch them. His discussion helped me during group discussions, news interviews, and personal information that he aired. He became m

We all know that he and his wife were attacked at midnight when they were returning from the studio.

The incident occurred 500 meters from his residence. Arnab and his wife managed to escape and we remained unwell. They filed a complaint.

So now I have some questions in my mind and I want a healthy discussion, but before I ask anything, I should make it clear. I do not support any party and neither BJP nor Congress.

शिकायत दर्ज करने के लिए अर्णब पुलिस स्टेशन में

If I want to ask anything, it is out of curiosity, therefore, please do not be related in any political way.

Firstly, this is not the first time Arnab attacked Sonia directly, then why did she suddenly attack two days ago when she resigned from the studio?

How can he directly accuse Congress? Sometimes I think she is very biased, maybe that’s my thinking.
Everything happened so fast, he was attacked and then two people were arrested.

Tablighi Jamaat Markaz & other religious places | Media channels & Social Media-the blame game.

I am writing point by point so that I can stick to logic and reality:

  • As we know, on March 13, 3400 people gathered in Nizamuddin Markaz, a part of South Delhi. All the religious places were open before the lockout.
  • The whole of India, especially our Hindus and political aspirations, despite misunderstanding and gathering information on a realistic basis, started abusing, mocking and writing hate speech against the Jamati

Of all the ceremonies, as written, what did you see Nizamuddin alone? Are you a hypocrite

Coronavirus soon took a political and religious turn without realizing that the virus does not discriminate between the rich and the poor or on the basis of religion, group, or community.

Bangalore and Moradabad attack

Naming just two major attacks, we have seen several other attacks against health workers and police officers in Ranchi and Indore.

In the evening on 19 April, a team of health workers and policemen arrived in a ward in Padarayanapura area of West Bengaluru, with 58 people who had come in contact with patients with coronovirus.

The locality was sealed last week after 3 patients participating in Tablighi Jamaat tested positive.

When the team arrived around 7 pm, a crowd of about 200 people started removing the barricades. However, the City of Scholars did not attack the crew members, but property damage was reported

So far, 54 people have been arrested.

  • In Moradabad, a crowd of about 150 people came and started throwing stones at the team of doctors, attacking the ambulance and also damaged the police car and ambulance. However, 17 attackers arrested

Ram Navami, Ayodhya

On 25 March, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh performed Lord Ram’s ceremony in Ayodhya. The media did not discuss the subject very much, however, the ceremony was done during the Lockdown

State officials said they took appropriate precautions before the ceremony to maintain and disinfect people and ensure cleanliness and hygiene.

Weddings During Lockdown: Is Corona for the Poor?

On 17 April, Nikhil Kumaraswamy married the daughter of a former Congress minister.

While my cousin’s marriage was postponed due to the lockdown, many weddings and funerals were similarly canceled, but some people could not understand.

In fact, here I will mention that our UP Chief Minister’s father died this morning and he could not attend the ceremony due to the responsibilities due to the lockout. Did many other weddings

He is visiting hospitals, taking wise and brave decisions for the welfare of the state. The Chief Minister of UP is doing tremendous and excellent work, even if the 5 stars are changing and giving comfort to the doctors.

But one thing, I am unable to understand that he traveled to Ayodhya to offer his prayers and now he canceled his trip. Can anyone explain me

Devotees violating the lockout

The annual chariot procession at the Siddalingeshwar temple was held in Kalaburagi on 16 April.

Around 1,000 refugees participated in the procession.

If you have an idea, Kalaburgi is the place where the first death due to coronovirus occurred, followed by 2 more deaths. It was the first district in the country to close.

Following the incident, two police officers were suspended.

Christian prayer meet during the lockdown

On April 5, a pastor held a prayer meeting to mark the beginning of the Holy Week of Christians.

The police raided and found that no one wore a mask and maintained social distance. The pastor was arrested for violating rules.

Naming just two major attacks, we have seen several other attacks against health workers and police officers in Ranchi and Indore.

Quarantine teams attacked the public.

In addition to the much known attacks, check for a few more such attacks:

As we can see, ASHA activists attacked to check for corona symptoms.

On this, Karnataka chief minister assured to provide full security to Asha workers and other officials.
As Karnataka earlier announced a lockdown relaxation from April 21 was withdrawn partly later on.

Similar attacks occurred in some other states, at a glance:
A tweet from the police attacking an injured was posted.

While trying to find the root of hatred and absurdity by us, found Modi Ji is trying the same.

Last Sunday afternoon, i.e. 19th April, I found that a person from Arab tweeted Modi Ji by objecting on a BJP minister’s tweet.

The tweet was of Tejasvi Surya, who is a BJP MP and a lawyer at Karnataka High Court, a very young, handsome person who is into politics at this young age but maturity does come with age. He tweeted the post in 2015 and I just ignored it after reading the demeaning post, later in the evening I checked my notifications and found a new tweet from our Modi Ji.

COVID-19 does not see race, religion, colour, caste, creed, language or borders before striking.

Our response and conduct thereafter should attach primacy to unity and brotherhood.

We are in this together : PM

Narendra Modi

After reading, I felt that the leader is forced to tweet after seeing so much of hatred between people. Every day and in most of my blogs I have requested to get united and spread peace and harmony but now India might listen to him. I posted his tweet on my page and wrote a long caption as well.

I ignored the tweets and didn’t realise the hatred and abusive behaviour of our citizens have actually now taken a global issue. The friendly nation has started to protest and people from royal families, intellectuals and leaders have asked the prime minister to take care of this issue.

Now you can listen the audiovisual of this blog in my voice.

You can now listen to my blogs on youtube.

Channel: Romieducation

https://youtu.be/S2519xPxERY

Let’s understand the situation one by one:

How did it start?

It all started with the first major cause, an Indian named Saurabh Upadhay who runs a company in Dubai tweeted some provoking tweets. He had the guts to tweet by staying in that country.

He never thought in his dreams that his tweet might get so famous for all the wrong reasons as many did complaint to Dubai police and lately Princess of Sharjah tweeted on his post.

Later on, Saurabh Upadhyay apologised deleted his tweet and deleted his account.

but after then people started to dig in more tweets, several posts of Indian spreading hate speech and fake news were found. During this, the hateful, demeaning and disrespectful post of BJP MP Tejasvi Surya also came in front. He is actually a learned and literate person.

Many such old and nutty posts and comments were dragged after the incident.

Very sad, but I can see many of my educated friends stoop so low when I find their posts, on social media. I actually wonder are they just functionally literates and deliberate selective listener?

No facts, no logic they have, what they write is somehow baseless and not classy, it reminds me of the way slum people abuse by hitting below the belt.

So after analysis it was found out most of the hate speech, hate posts and comments were done by RSS, BJP leaders and aspirations who want to enter into politics.

But then, the BJP leader, Mr Narendra Modi has earned the respect and love from every country. He is a very popular leader and even Islamic counties adore him.

Even last year at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan, while addressing the rally he mentioned:

During the tenure of his government, India’s relationship with Gulf countries had improved. He highlighted that Muslim countries released many Indian prisoners, and Saudi increased Hajj quota because of India’s growing ties with the Islamic nations.

This became actually a matter of concern that friendly countries are now disappointed. If you see, India is sharing a very good relationship with Arab countries for years. That made our leader write a tweet.

Media which has been spreading so much poison and pouring in hatred into our minds might stop now. The trending hashtags might stop now.

But the question arrives, from where so much hatred came from? If our prime minister is so much loved and the BJP leaders have earned so much of respect then why BJP leaders and aspirants are spreading so much of hatred? So I thought to first understand and then explain it to you.

Evolution of Anti-muslim, hatred, communalism in BJP

Bharatiya Janta Party, my all-time favourite political party. I remember when I was a kid, Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the prime – minister. I liked him so much, read all his poems used to hear his speech with my father. I was a huge fan and revered him as my imaginary grandfather. He became the hero of the nation as India won the war against Pakistan and then the atom bomb test. Later on, I got to know about a very promising and powerful leader who was the chief minister of Gujrat, always wanted him to be the prime minister of India and one day he did become the same. Like other citizens I also supported him but later on apart from demonetization, failure of make in India, another problem started to appear as the voice of communication, hatred and anti-muslim started to rise and now the coronavirus exposed the hatred in people’s mind.

After the promises failed, the economy slowed down Hinduism became the ultimate and most powerful weapon to rule successfully. Aggressive, brazen, disrespectful campaigns started to trend and run. Slowly and gradually during the second phase, religion became the primary subject to the rule and govern.

Crossed over into the domain of sanctioned communalism.

A journalist and novelist Indrajit Hazra wrote in the Times of India signalled the BJP in her statement.

Under Modi’s reign, terms like

  • Love Jihad
  • Jahil Jamatis
  • Anti-nationals
  • Calling terrorists to anyone
  • Desh-drohi
  • Any dissent go to Pakistan

got famous and the media plays a crucial role in it. It has now become a culture that if you want to enter into politics and become a part of the BJP party, just be Anti-muslim.

Now I know why learned, educated and intelligent people like Shashi Tharoor, Manmohan Singh yet stick with Congress though the leader is Rahul Gandhi.

Others like me, have become neutral because “whan Rahul hai to idhar ajib logo ka jhund hai”.

I read an opinion on The Washington Post, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi was sure on the sectarian strategy as he nominated Pragya Singh Thakur who was accused of participating in a terrorist attack

Pragya Singh Thakur:

She is popularly known as Sadhvi Pragya, a BJP leader who is accused of Malegaon blasts in 2008 which resulted in the killing of 10 people and leaving 82 people injured. She is currently under trial even then she got a chance to contest in 2019 elections from Bhopal and won her debut. On 28th Nov 19, she made a remarkable comment by saying Nathuram Godse as a patriot which was strongly opposed and she was sacked from Defense committee and BJP.

Amit Shah:

Amit Shah the modern Chanakya, threatened the Muslim migrants whom he called infiltrators and termites-if the party is re-elected. However, he assured the Muslims, not to worry even I do support CAB and CAA. With just a heavy population we cannot afford refugees or migrants irrespective of their religion.

Giriraj Singh:

The cabinet Minister of Animal husbandry and Fisheries resource development who started his political career from Bihar has remarked many statements against Muslim.

Our forefathers, however, committed a mistake. Had they ensured that all our Muslim brothers were sent to Pakistan and Hindus brought here, the need for such a move (CAA) would not have arisen. This did not happen and we have paid a heavy price for it.

Giriraj Singh

Those who cannot say Vande Mataram or cannot respect the motherland, the nation will never forgive them,

Giriraj Singh

Here I do agree with his statement if you are in India you must respect our motherland, national anthem, national song.

Being in India, living your livelihood, getting food shelter from India and then accusing is not at all accepted. When in India, respect as Indian does.

Though he has hurt Muslim sentiments in several other statements and not just Giriraj if you pick out MLA’s and MP’s and as I said BJP followers, aspirants they strongly put statements accusing Muslims.

Singh’s comment on the green colour was an insult to the national flag, ANI reported. “One ideology cannot be forcefully imposed on everyone,” Yadav had said.

According to Shekhar Gupta, the strong relationship he built with the Islamic governments helped him to outflank Pakistan. He built the relationship, maintained the friendship. For him and India these are very important relationships.

Until now, India was getting away with it under Modi because protest if was coming from Indian liberals, Indian west, Indian free press or Muslim intellectuals become pan Islamic not just the countries which are traditionally hostile to India or organization’s this is not coming from mainstream countries India is friends with. How valuable is that friendship is and how good that friendship is taking an example: India is the only country whose airlines is allowed to fly over Saudi Arabia to Israel.

Shekhar Gupta

The followers who are attacking by saying or posting Anti-muslim comments for their cheap thrills or consolidating Hindu votes that they were using by date is over now. I am now looking forward to the press and media stop poisoning our countrymen. The government is already taking actions and arresting people who are spreading communal hatred.

I think the young leader Mr Tajasvi will understand as well and people learn from the mistake. Such a young person having such a wonderful and promising career will try to unite all the religion again.

Yesterday I found a post where a person mentioned “Jahil Hindu” so first Hindus insulted Muslims by writing “Jahil Jamatis” “Jahil Muslims” now Hindus are also Jahil.

Another post, I read on Facebook by an aspirant who wants to enter into the political world posted comments that lacked knowledge and wrongly stated. The person accused Muslims of Palgarh Mob lynching so I expect that now people must understand that the Anti-muslim statement will take you nowhere.

Earlier the Arab world use to see India with suspicion but now India has fixed the relationship and is into damage control mode. This cannot be harmed again just because of amusement and abusing to get a political career.

Feeling lonely during lockdown?

Are you staying all alone in a city for your job and suddenly the country went to lockdown. You cannot go outside, no office, no more hanging out with friends, the whole day you spend your time playing ludo, pubg and watching shows on Netflix, Amazon prime, youtube, Hotstar, feel like you are locked up in a luxurious jail?
Some might feel the same loneliness ever with their families, people all around but no-one to sit and relax, share your feelings and express.

Here’s a story:

Shweta after her marriage shifted to another city with her husband. She left her family, friends, the local places, markets, colony, society and vibes from her places which made her feel homely.

She was very excited about her new life. She was ready to explore an entirely different place and diverse culture. With her open heart, she was willing to build her own family and mould herself into a new lifestyle.

Initial days, were like a fairy tale. She arranged and decorated her new flat. Now it was her home, tried enchanting recipes, enjoyed shopping household products and loved to wait for her husband.

Everything was fine but after some time she started to miss her own self. She was a girl who had lots of close friends. A working and independent girl who had a busy lifestyle. A target to achieve and a routine to follow.

From client meetings to office gossips, talking with her colleagues or hanging out with besties she started missing all.

Suddenly, she started to feel lonely and even her husband couldn’t feel the hollowness she is dealing in her life.

A city where she knows the only person. Out of so many faces, she recognises only one. Out of so many locations, she has an apartment where she can sit and look outside. The only view, she looked every day we’re a few buildings and trees from her window.

She was feeling as if she’s trapped in a cell, she wished to be the girl she was earlier. She can open the gates of her cage but don’t know where to fly.

This is life, it’s difficult to adapt and your sacrifices won’t be acknowledged.

Shweta will adapt and get accustomed to this life one day.

Do you know, how much time we invest in social media during the lockdown?

Know the effects of using social media.

After the lockdown, everyone is active on social media, many of them are displaying their cooking talents including me.

A friend of mine wants to become a stand-up comedian, due to the busy schedule he could never give his time to nurture his talent. So now, he is utilising the social platform by sharing jokes, publishing videos on youtube.

Another friend of mine is learning art and painting from YouTube and sharing her talent with us.

Credit: Swati Gupta

We have increased our 87% usage and on average we spend 4-5 hours per day just on Facebook and WhatsApp.

And my beautiful girls are so busy, so many daily challenges are there to fulfil to make this world beautiful. Seeing their beautiful smiling faces makes us forget all the problems we are facing right jow.

Even the coronavirus finds it so angelic and delightful that they spare the girls who perform:

  • Saree challenge
  • No-make challenge
  • Mother-daughter challenge
  • Googles challenge
  • Couple challenge

By far, I have been receiving these challenges.

According to Business Today, Indians have turned to social media to pass their time.

Before the lockdown, social media usage was on average 150 minutes per day. However, in the first week of lockdown, the figures jumped to 280 minutes per day, showed a survey. The survey added that 75 per cent of people were spending more time on Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp compared to the week before.

What people do in social media

In social media, people were largely consuming news and communicating with their friends and families as coronavirus grappled the country.

Our brain is restless, it needs an opportunity to do something. We are hunter-gatherers and social media gives us the opportunity to read, learn, watch, listen, share the post, upload etc..

Ego needs a platform to showcase itself, 80% of our online conversation are sharing our opinions, thoughts, self-appreciation, display of our talent.

After posting any picture we wait for likes and comment, a person like me after publishing a blog, I check the viewer’s stats.

According to research, lonely people are more social friendly.

Using Tiktok has increased despite the fact that it is a Chinese app and many of us are demanding of uninstalling it but people are spending their time making videos especially celebrities.

The demerit of Social Media

Extreme use of social media leads to depression.

Social media creates immense pressure. This is known as FOMO, a trendy new acronym used to describe anxiety of feeling left out, lacking talent, missing events. So the anxiety raises when we see people are doing much better in their lives and we start comparing it with others.

I hope many of us by far has experienced laziness and restlessness as we are using twitter, Facebook, Instagram a lot these days. Because this is a common symptom of being so active in social media.

A study from Harvard University showed that self-disclosure online boosts a part of the brain that also lights up when taking cocaine.

You might face sleeping disorders.
